Pre-market trading hours: Pre-market trading happens before the market opens and can start as early as 4am Eastern time, but usually starts at around 8am and runs until the market opens at 9:30am.
After-hours trading: After hours trading happens after the market closes and usually runs from 4pm to 8pm Eastern.
